Summary:

A November 1 check of Deep Rock Galactic's Steam sale, with guidance on editions, group purchases and the date-only deadline.

Deep Rock Galactic is $8.99 on US Steam, down from $29.99 (70% off), in a November 1, 2026 price check. The offer covers the Windows base game and requires a Steam account. It is a paid purchase, not a free weekend or subscription benefit.

Check the edition and deadline

Steam lists November 4 as the sale end date. The exact cutoff time and timezone were not verified, so do not assume the deal lasts until midnight where you live.

Select the standalone game if that is all you need. Deluxe and other bundles cost more and include extras; the soundtrack and cosmetic packs are separate purchases. This offer is for the original Deep Rock Galactic, not Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor.

A co-op game built around getting everyone home

The official game website puts teamwork at the center of its mining expeditions. Dwarven crews explore hostile caves on Hoxxes IV, gather resources and use weapons and traversal tools to survive. The changing cave layouts and hazardous wildlife turn the journey itself into part of the challenge.

That makes this a useful shortlist candidate for a group looking for shared tasks rather than another competitive match. Before buying together, agree on which storefront and version everyone will use, then check the developer's current compatibility information. A discount is less useful if it does not get your group into the same session.

What the player reviews say

Steam's English-language rating was Overwhelmingly Positive, with 97% positive across 171,580 reviews. This is a dated player-review snapshot, not WupGames hands-on testing.

Read a few recent critical reviews as well as the positive ones. They can help you judge whether the pacing and repeated expeditions sound like something you will want to return to. Also check the current system requirements against your PC, rather than treating a low price as proof of compatibility.
