**Summary:**

Hexologic is free to keep on US Steam until October 31, 2026. The Overwhelmingly Positive puzzle game is normally $4.99; the checked cutoff has no stated timezone.

**Hexologic is free to keep on Steam's US store until October 31, 2026.** The full puzzle game is currently $0.00 rather than $4.99—a 100% discount, not a free weekend or a demo. Claim it through the individual game's “Add to Account” button while the promotion is available.

## Claim before Halloween's cutoff, not at the last minute

At our October 30 check, Steam displayed an October 31 deadline at 12:00 p.m., but did not label its timezone. That is not a verified noon Central deadline: consult the time displayed in your own Steam session and claim early rather than relying on a conversion. Steam also says the offer is available while supplies last.

The free license is for your Steam account. You do not need Prime, Luna Premium or another paid subscription, and this is not an external key purchase. The paid bundles farther down the page are separate offers; use the standalone free-game panel rather than adding a bundle to your cart. Confirm the price remains $0.00 before completing the claim.

## A compact logic game with a strong player response

MythicOwl's Hexologic builds number puzzles around hexagonal cells. You place dots so that totals along intersecting lines match the targets at their edges. The shared cells make each decision affect more than one line, giving a familiar arithmetic idea a different spatial shape.

The developer's Steam description lists more than 90 levels across six worlds, with additional mechanics introduced along the way. The presentation emphasizes gentle music and uncluttered puzzles rather than combat or a narrative campaign. Steam also lists a level editor and Workshop support.

Steam's overall user-review label was **Overwhelmingly Positive across 693 reviews** when checked. That is useful evidence of player reception, not a WUPGames review or a guarantee that every player will enjoy its number puzzles. The game originally released on May 29, 2018; the news here is the limited giveaway, not a new launch.

## What to check before claiming

- **Offer:** the full standalone Steam game, free to keep after a qualifying claim—not temporary access.
- **Region and currency:** the US storefront showed $0.00 USD, reduced from $4.99. Availability elsewhere should be checked locally.
- **Platform:** the listing includes Windows and SteamOS/Linux support and a Steam Deck Verified badge. Check the current requirements for your machine; the page's old Windows 7 minimum does not override Steam's newer client requirements.
- **Trading cards:** although the game normally supports them, Steam says copies granted through this free-to-keep promotion do not drop Steam Trading Cards.
- **Deadline:** October 31, 2026; the checked page's 12:00 p.m. display had no timezone. Availability is also subject to supplies.

If you enjoy Sudoku-style reasoning, this is a low-cost way to try a different kind of grid. Claiming adds the license to your account; it does not require finishing the puzzles before the offer expires.
