Summary:

The Classic American Hunter Pack is temporarily free on US Steam, down from $4.99. The offer ends November 12 at 10 a.m. PST / noon CST / 18:00 UTC, while supplies last. It adds a rifle, American Foxhound and hat variants, but does not include Hunting Simulator 3.

Hunting Simulator 3 owners can claim the Classic American Hunter Pack free on Steam, with the US store reducing the add-on from $4.99 to $0.00. The offer was checked on November 3, 2026.

This is a small bonus for people who already play the game. The paid Hunting Simulator 3 base game is required; the promotion does not give you the full game.

Claim before November 12

The claim window ends November 12, 2026, at 10 a.m. PST / noon CST / 1 p.m. EST / 18:00 UTC. Steam describes the offer as free to keep and notes that availability is subject to supplies lasting. The store may display the deadline in your local timezone.

  • Where: Official Steam DLC listing, United States, USD.
  • Price: $0.00 during the promotion, normally $4.99.
  • Requirements: Steam account and Hunting Simulator 3 on Steam.
  • Access: A permanent DLC claim, rather than a demo, free weekend or subscription benefit. No console copy is included.

What the pack adds

The add-on contains a Winchester Model 1892 Short Rifle, an American Foxhound companion and a Verney-Carron Woolchap hat in three color variants. These are in-game additions for the existing game.

A useful extra, not a reason to rush into the base game

If you already own Hunting Simulator 3, this is a straightforward opportunity to collect an optional pack without paying its usual price. If you do not own it, judge the base game separately. A free add-on is only useful when you actually want the game it belongs to.

Open the official listing while signed in and use Add to Account. Check that Steam confirms the entitlement on your account, rather than merely adding the item to a wishlist. Recheck the price before completing the claim, particularly near the deadline.
