**Summary:**

This guide covers the Sker Ritual Windows base-game giveaway on Epic checked October 24, 2026, with a listed October 29 deadline at 15:00 UTC. It explains account and platform requirements, separately sold add-ons, solo and four-player co-op play, and the game's round-based horror structure. Verify the current store offer before claiming.

**Sker Ritual is free to keep on the Epic Games Store until October 29, 2026 at 15:00 UTC.** That is 10 a.m. CDT, 11 a.m. EDT or 8 a.m. PDT. This is a chance to add a full co-op horror shooter to your PC library, not a weekend trial.

## The offer, without the fine-print surprises

- **US price:** $0 for the base game, against Epic's displayed $24.99 reference price.
- **Platform:** Windows PC through Epic. This is not a Steam key or a PlayStation or Xbox copy.
- **Access:** an Epic account and Epic library entitlement, not a DRM-free download. No paid subscription is required.
- **Extras:** paid add-ons are listed separately and are not included in this base-game giveaway.

## A louder kind of Sker horror

Wales Interactive released Sker Ritual in April 2024, so the news here is the giveaway, not a new launch. The developer describes it as a spin-off of Maid of Sker: instead of approaching horror primarily as an exercise in avoidance, you fight successive enemy rounds, improve your weapons and build up supernatural abilities.

Its “Miracles” system offers powers that change attacks and healing, while enemy variants and optional objectives give teams more to consider than simply standing together and shooting. You can play alone or with up to four players online; the developer says the enemy intensity adjusts to the party size. See the [official game overview](https://www.walesinteractive.com/skerritual) for its feature breakdown.

For a group that enjoys repeating a run and finding a better strategy, removing the purchase price makes arranging a session easier. For someone looking for quiet exploration or a tightly paced one-and-done story, the round-based structure may be a less natural fit. This is an offer guide, not a hands-on review.

## Claim first, check your PC before installing

Open the store page, sign into the account you intend to use, choose Get and confirm the $0 claim. Check your library afterward. [Epic warns that missed free promotions cannot be claimed afterward](https://www.epicgames.com/help/c-32735058/c-36403860/i-saw-that-a-game-was-free-on-epic-games-but-i-didn-t-manage-to-claim-it-in-time-can-i-still-get-it-for-free-a18376734).

The listing specifies 8 GB RAM and 15 GB storage, and carries a Mature 17+ rating for violence, blood and gore. Review the full requirements before downloading. Prefer a different pace? Our [Home giveaway guide](https://wupgames.com/home-free-epic-games-october-2026) covers this week's choice-driven horror alternative.
