Sundered: Eldritch Edition Is $1.99 on Steam, With Four-Player Local Co-op

Sundered: Eldritch Edition is $1.99 on US Steam, down 90% from $19.99. The November 5, 2026 store check found a substantial discount on Thunder Lotus's hand-drawn action adventure, with a useful bonus for couch co-op groups: the game supports up to four local players.

The official Steam offer lists November 9 as its end date. The displayed offer does not establish an exact cutoff time or timezone, so check the live price before checkout rather than assuming it lasts until midnight.

What the $1.99 purchase includes

This is a paid standalone Steam game license, not a subscription benefit, demo or free weekend. A Steam account is required. The Eldritch Edition includes the game's previous updates and Magnate of the Gong content, which adds local co-op, additional areas and a boss encounter.

The separately sold soundtrack is not included in the $1.99 option. Steam also displays a game-and-soundtrack bundle, but buying that bundle is unnecessary if you only want to play. Choose the standalone “Buy Sundered” option and confirm its contents and final total.

A small price for a demanding adventure

Sundered follows Eshe through a ruined world of shifting caverns and hostile creatures. Its developer description emphasizes hand-drawn animation, large bosses and a choice between resisting or embracing eldritch powers. The visual appeal comes with a darker, more combative tone than Thunder Lotus's Spiritfarer.

Expect exploration, backtracking and upgrades alongside bursts of enemy-heavy combat. The mix of authored and procedural spaces is worth considering before buying: players who want a completely fixed map or a relaxed sightseeing game may prefer something else. Frequent deaths and returning to improve your character are part of the intended loop.

At the November 5 check, Steam's English-language review sample was Very Positive: 82% of 2,247 reviews. The separate recent sample was Mostly Positive, with 75% of just 12 reviews positive over the last 30 days. That small recent sample is not a reliable trend by itself. These are dated player-review signals, not our own hands-on assessment.

Check co-op and computer requirements first

The multiplayer feature is local co-op for up to four players. Steam also lists Remote Play Together, which streams a local session to friends; do not assume the game has a separate native online co-op mode.

The store lists Windows, macOS and Linux versions. Its Windows requirements include 4 GB RAM and 3 GB storage, but the old Windows 7 line should not be treated as a current Steam-client recommendation: the same page warns that the client requires Windows 10 or later. Check the current requirements for your operating system, graphics hardware and controllers before purchasing.
